You are in luck. In my personal opinion, the BG series gets interesting after BG6. :)

The new school series will be kind of a "reboot", with an all-new student roster. Of course some familiar characters will turn up occasionally.

BG6 is on the menu this weekend :) I actually couldn't help myself the other day and skim-read the thread on BG11 (with spoilers still in place) - it sounds frickin awesome! I'm wondering now whether to read the BG series straight through, rather than reading all the comics in order of their creation... - but will I miss things if I do that? Advice welcome!

Otherwise, the school series reboot with fresh-faced new cast sounds great! But where is it on the to-do list I wonder?! ;)

There are major plot developments that impinge on the BG "universe" in several other comics (The Hotel, karma, The Society and the Offiice see also the Bottom) off the top of my head these start kicking in after BG 9 Repurposed and For Sale also link directly to the story but the later is very much an off shoot that doesn't advance the central story.

Don't take my word for it here is the release order as recorded by the great Thon hiimself

If you want to follow the arcs of Maggie and Sherry, you can skip Slave Fair 2, The Clinic, The Stables, For Sale!, Slavecop 2, Karma, The Dairy, and Repurposed. (I still recommend Repurposed, which includes some of my favorite scenes.)

Thanks! That's very helpful. I just read BG6 - blown away by it - incredible scenes, incredible art, Cumbath Club!!, psychology of Maggie, Sherry getting very interesting, Heather in fishnets, Tawnie at the end... Wow. Certainly the best BG so far. So yes, I'm keen to stick with the BG series for now, so it's great to know which comics can be saved for later.
