Well, Pax is used as the name of similar drugs many times in reality and ficton, mostly because it meant peace in Latin. So the reference is still valid. But I simply cannot remember the reason of this particular change in my spelling of the name.

playing homage to glam rock band ala nikki stixx?, lol

Now we can add the Dr. Stangelove reference in The Society.

Lacie commoncunt: "...I stopped worrying and loved the collar..."

(I really want to see the moment she does that  )

Not sure if these count but SC2 has some Star Wars type images. One of them Dr. White noticed and posted before (the bounty hunter helmet) and the other is the classic hologram: "Fuck me Obi wan kenobi, you are my only hope. heh heh

I don't think this has been commented on but the Interrogation Dept in SC 2 is Dept 101. This is another clear nod to Orwell's 1984 and the dreaded Room 101. What does every slave girl fear? Being locked in a room with some of the BFA's most randy inquisitors and the biggest toy box in Pussiania.

Room 1138 in the Hotel? That is an exceedingly clever Star Wars reference.

The goddess names in The Breed? and the ankh symbol? I know they are not "pop" references but...

Definitely noted the room 101 reference. The breadth of the artist's erudition is not to be underestimated. It informs every comic in one way or another.

I was -ahem- reviewing KARMA today.

In Karma Anna lived on "1230 Gropecunt Lane". Turns out is a historical reference to red light districts in old Europe.

I confess that LOVE reviewing erenisch comics for many reasons.

:D (and I'm very proud of my googling skills thank you)

This is a nice catch.

Now with this bit of info, Anna having sex for money in krama makes more sense.

Abut Inara - She is at the top of the list of my favorite characters, and Morena Baccarin is the perfect actress for that role, but I did not base any character on her. I never base my characters on existing fictional characters or real people for numerous reasons. (I do take visual inspirations from real persons though.)

Fun fact - In the original pilot of IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA which was later re-shot as episode 4, "Charlie Has Cancer," Morena Baccarin played Carmen, the tranny.

Don't forget Suzie Creamcheese in the Office.

also on page 26, Paul calls the girls working for him "my angels". Perhaps that is a Charlie's Angels reference?

I'm glad this page exists because a lot of these references are either from things I've never seen or were too subtle from things that I had seen. E must have quite the knowledge of culture.

Flav spotted the Eric Prydz' "Call On Me" reference in Repurposed. E confirmsed that the girls are doing moves from that music video.

And on age 42 Heather's bag has "Jello Piggy" on it. I assume this is a parody of "Hello Kitty". (not confirmed)

Nathalie rides a Sybian, if you call it a pop culture reference, and her father uses a Hitachi magic wand.

Both are made for chicks', so Nathalie is the luckiest slave in the whole erenischverse.

except for the electric shocks of course.

Not to be a pedant, but if Heather's to be believed Jeff built his own. He's an old school nerd at heart.
